Lucetta Dorlee Smith, 91, of Coldwater passed away peacefully Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, IN.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater, MI.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
She was born July 10, 1934 in Isom, KY to Fred and Matilda (Combs) Banks. Lucetta later made Coldwater her home, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work.
She devoted many years to a fulfilling career with K-Mart in Coldwater, where she was well known and fondly remembered by both coworkers and members of the community. Her warm personality, reliability, and friendly presence made her a familiar and trusted face to many.
A woman of deep faith, Lucetta was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Coldwater, where she found strength, comfort, and fellowship. She cherished a quiet life and found her greatest joy at home, spending time with her family and those she loved.
Lucetta will be remembered for her gentle spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to her faith and family. She leaves behind many who will miss her kindness and steady presence.
Lucetta is survived by her son Michael (Christine) Smith of Coldwater; her grandchildren Joshua Smith, Paul Hutchins, Brent (Heidi) Roscoe; her 7 great grandchildren and her many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Sandra Smith, and her siblings.
Memorial donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
