COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School 8th grade girls basketball team lost to Pennfield 48-16 at home Wednesday.
Olivia Rinard and Brooklyn Powell were leading scorers. Kassidee Cole led the team 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Brooklyn Powell and Natalie Esterline were also rebounding leaders with 4 each.
The 7th grade A team won at Pennfield 29-5 . Karagen Bucklin had 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks, Carly VanAken scored 8 points, with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals, Brooke Barle had 8 points, 14 rebounds, and 2 blocks, and McKenna Vainner had 2 points and 2 steals.
The 7th grade B team lost 25-10 to Pennfield. Jordi Wilson had 6 points and 4 rebounds, Evelyn McRae had 2 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals, and Sami Manzer had 2 points.
