COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings and Union City Chargers take to the mats this evening, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, for the MHSAA Team Wrestling Regionals with both programs eyeing a trip to the state finals.
Bronson enters tonight’s action on the heels of a District Championship and will serve as the host school for Regional 124.
The Vikings will face off against Laingsburg, in their semifinal match beginning at 6:00 p.m., while the other side of the bracket features Lakewood taking on Leslie at the same time. The winners of these two duals will meet in the regional championship later tonight, to determine who advances to the Wings Event Center.
Meanwhile, Union City continues its quest for postseason glory in in Division 4 after an unusual path through the district round where they advanced automatically due to opponent withdrawals. The Chargers have been assigned to Regional 131, which is hosted by Schoolcraft. UC will wrestle against Galesburg Augusta while the other semifinal match will feature Schoolcraft taking Reading at 6:00 p.m. with the winners wrestling for a Regional Championship at 7:15 p.m.
