Barbara Lou “Barb” Bricker, 86, of La Salle, Michigan, formerly of Coldwater passed away Monday, March 2, 2026 at her home under hospice care, surrounded by her family.
In keeping with Barb’s wishes, she will be cremated and a graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, MI, where she will laid to rest with her late husband, Ronald.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Barb was born December 10, 1939 to Lavere and Anna Jane (Ullom) Waldron in Coldwater. She graduated from Coldwater High School with the Class of 1957. After high school, Barb graduated from Kellogg Community College and Branch County School of Nursing.
December 22, 1962 she married Ronald Bricker in Coldwater. He preceded her in death January 31, 2021.
Barb served as a nurse, working in multiple areas of nursing for 35 years, retiring in 2008. Barb enjoyed reading and crafting.
Barb is survived by her children, Joanne (Jody) Downing of LaSalle, Sandra Petre of Ashley, IN, and James (Aubrey) Bricker of Brownstown Township; her five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Barb is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald.
