COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency’s location in Three Rivers was significantly damaged by the storms that came through the area Friday afternoon.
Assessment of the physical structure is still ongoing, but the agency says they are working to continue to meet the needs of the community during this time.
As a result of the damage to the Three Rivers facility, they will be relocating their clinical services, WIC, immunizations, STI/HIV treatment and testing, to the Sturgis location at 1555 E. Chicago Road starting Monday at 8:00 a.m. If you have an appointment scheduled for this week but are unable to keep that appointment, you are being asked to call 269-273-2161 ext. 201 to reschedule or discuss additional options.
The Environmental Health services, well and septic permits, food licenses, and inspections, will temporarily relocate to the Coldwater office at 570 Marshall Road.
Online applications can be made with a credit card payment through the portal on their website.

Health officer Rebecca Burns said in a news release “Our hearts go out to the families in our communities who have been impacted by these storms. We are grateful to our Emergency Management staff, first responders, linemen, clean- up crews, and volunteers who again demonstrate the power of community. The loss of property, possessions, and life will require us to come together to support each other in the days and weeks to come.” She added to “Please follow the instructions on their website to navigate services.
Burns says the agency will keep the community informed as they go through the rebuilding process. She says the Branch Hillsdale St. Joseph Community Health Agency is currently seeking a longer-term solution to provide Environmental Health services in St. Joseph County.
