UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) -Over the weekend we learned the identities of two of the three people killed in Fridays tornado.
65-year-old Penni Jo Guthrie, A resident of Union City, she was killed when the tornado destroyed her home on the north side of Union Lake. She died from injuries sustained during the storm.
54-year-old Keri Ann Johnson, A resident of Prairie Rose Lane near Guthrie’s home, Johnson also died from injuries sustained in the tornado. She was an employee at Archer Lake Watersports, where colleagues remembered her as a “great friend”.
Both were identified in obituaries posed on the Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation website.
The identity of the third victim has not yet been publicly released.
