UNION CITY, (WTVB) – The Union City Tornado Response Team has announced a major community clean-up effort scheduled for Saturday, April 18.
This initiative aims to support any residents impacted by last months tornado, regardless of the severity of their property damage.
Organized teams are being dispatched to assist with a variety of recovery tasks, ranging from clearing light brush and small debris to deploying skilled crews for the removal of downed trees and larger wreckage.
To ensure help reaches those who need it, the response team is urging affected residents to reach out for assistance at no cost.
Community members requiring help with debris removal are encouraged to call 517-877-1171 to be added to the dispatch list. Additionally, the organization is still seeking volunteers to join the effort; those interested in lending a hand to their neighbors can sign up by calling 517-877-1181.
