KINDERHOOK TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two teenagers sustained minor injuries Saturday night after their 1985 Chevrolet Corvette struck a deer and crashed into a ditch in Kinderhook Township.
The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. near Allen and East Southern Roads, prompting a response from the Lakeland Fire Department, Michigan State Police, and Lifecare Ambulance.
The driver, 19-year-old Jackson Handshoe, of Fremont, Indiana and a passenger, 19-year-old Hailee Ridgway of Coldwater, were treated at the scene and opted for private transport to Cameron Hospital in Angola.
VIP Towing assisted in removing the vehicle, with deputies coordinating the scene.
