Tamara “Tami” L. Roussey, 48, of Bronson passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at her home.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 12, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Church in Bronson.
Visitation will take place Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. A Rosary service will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m.
Tami was born July 22, 1977 in Coldwater, to Richard L. and Clarice K. (Johnson) Swift. She later met and married the love of her life, Brad K. Roussey, June 19, 1999. Together they built a loving family and shared many wonderful years together.
Tami devoted much of her life to caring for others. She worked as a nurse before she and Brad became the owners and operators of Choice Connections, where she continued her passion for helping those in need. Together they also owned Roussey Taxidermy and recently purchased Maddox Industries. Tami’s compassionate heart and dedication to serving others touched countless lives throughout her career.
A faithful member of St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Church in Bronson, Tami found great joy in her faith, family, and friends. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, dancing, and spending time with those she loved most. She also loved to travel, especially when it involved a beach destination. Above all else, Tami was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose love and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Tami is survived by her husband, Brad Roussey; her children, Hunter (Ellie) Roussey and Paige Roussey; her parents, Richard and Clarice Swift; her siblings, Missy (John) Ganton, Mike (Danette) Swift, and Jeff (Amber) Swift; her in-laws, Pat (Sally) Roussey, Jeannie Roussey-Prater, Patrick (Jennifer) Roussey, and Sarah (Corey) Collins; along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Evelyn Swift, Ethan Swift, Eric Johnson, Marjorie Stoll, Ray and Katherine Roussey, and Norma and Joe Szafranski.
Memorial contributions may be directed to The Borne Clinic for cancer patient treatments.
