BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school baseball, Bronson improved to 13-1 with a 15-11 non-conference victory over Fremont, Indiana. Brenden Bell was credited with the win while Cody Schwartz earned the save.
Bronson collected 17 hits. They were led by Brett Sikorski who had three hits including two doubles and four RBI’s. Hudson Wotta also had three hits. Wotta, Schwartz and Colin Ransbottom all had two RBI’s.

Both of the Quincy track teams are unbeaten in the Big 8 Conference as they swept triangular meets with Concord and Reading on Wednesday night.
The Quincy boys finished first with 67 points followed by Concord with 48 points and Reading with 22. Quincy winners were Bryce Ruhl (high jump, long jump), Nathan Nohr (3200), Ryan Gibson (shot put), Jonathan Purvis (discus) and Tyler Moore (pole vault). Quincy won the 400 and 1600 relays.
The Quincy girls finished first with 67 points followed by Reading with 37 and Concord with 33. The Orioles swept the field events. Quincy winners were Sarah Bostic (shot put), Sara Avra (discus), Emily Hollenbaugh (high jump), Mackinzie Groves (pole vault and Montana Hindes (long jump). Quincy also won the 400 and 1600 relays.
