RIVES JUNCTION, MI (WTVB) – In track and field Tuesday, Coldwater swept Jackson Northwest in an Interstate 8 Conferenmce action by scores of 97-60 in the boys meet and 91-51 in the girls meet.
Coldwater winners in the boys meet were Adam Bailey (200 and 400), Shuaib Aljabaly (800), Kyle Foulk (1600 and 3200), Logan Fee (300 hurdles), Dylan Targgart (shot put and discus), Brent Smoker (high jump) and Matt Gipple (long jump). Coldwater won the 3200 relay.
Coldwater winners in the girls meet were Claire Sheppard (100, long jump and high jump), Kathy Potter (800), Elka Machan (1600), Jasmine Wellet (100 hurdles and 300 hurdles) and Kaci White (shot put and discus). Coldwater won the 400 and 3200 relays.
