COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A renewal of funding for senior services in the area will be up for a vote this summer.
The Branch County Board of Commissioners approved a request from the Branch County Commission on Aging Board of Directors Tuesday for a renewal request of the operational millage on the August 7, 2018 primary ballot.
The current operational millage expires at the end of 2019.
The proposal asks for a renewal of up to 0.4908 mills for five years.
If approved and levied in full, the millage will raise $673,000 per year for the Commission on Aging.
