COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners approved a pair of staffing requests from Sheriff John Pollack Tuesday.
One of the requests was for the hiring of two part time road deputies due to the recent retirement of Sgt. Jim Holt, the extended medical leave for Deputy Greg Ware, and the possibility of a third deputy leaving for another agency,
Commissioners also approved a request from the Sheriff to fill an open position in Corrections following a recent resignation.
Meanwhile, Corrections Officer Teresa Brewer was honored with a certificate for her 20 years of service.
