BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school soccer, Coldwater fell in Interstate 8 Conference action Friday night, losing at Battle Creek Pennfield 3-0. The game was scoreless for the first 55 minutes, but Pennfield managed to score all three goals in a 20 minute stretch of the second half.
Nadia Kiersey made nine saves in goal as Coldwater drops to 0-2 in the conference and 0-4 overall. They will host Sturgis in non-conference action for Parents Night Tuesday.
The Coldwater JV teamed tied Pennfield 3-3, with goals from Megan Barnes, Amber Sunderland, and Juana Mancera. Their record now is 0-1-3 on the season.
