QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The selection of the next Quincy Community Schools superintendent is scheduled to take place Thursday evening during a special meeting of the Quincy Board of Education.
A second and final round of interviews to determine who will be the next Superintendent will be held Thursday evening, after originally being scheduled for next Monday.
Battle Creek Lakeview Assistant Superintendent Jim Baker is scheduled to be interviewed at 5:00 p.m.. The interview with Mendon Middle School/High School Principal Marc Kramer follows at 6:00 p.m..
It’s hoped whoever is chosen can start July 1, 2018.
Nineteen educators initially applied for the position.
The Michigan Leadership Institute is helping the Quincy School Board with the search. They also assisted the Branch Intermediate School District during their recent superintendent search.
