COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Hudson, Indiana man with a lengthy criminal record entered into a plea agreement with Branch County prosecutors Monday.
34-year-old Aaron Loffer entered a guilty plea to an amended count of receiving and concealing stolen property between $1,000 and $20,000. In exchange for his plea, the original charges of unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle, operating and maintaining a methamphetamine lab, fourth degree arson and felony firearm will all be dismissed by prosecutors.
Loffer is scheduled to be sentenced June 11t, 2018
He was captured in Angola in January 2017 following a police search in two states. He was wanted for alleged crimes over a 13 month period.
Loffer is also facing four theft charges in Steuben County including two for stealing a firearm as well as a charge for receiving stolen auto parts. Indiana on line court records show Loffer’s criminal record goes all the way back to 2002.
