COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Community School District was forced to make another robo call after they were made aware on Wednesday night of a Facebook post that Superintendent Terry Boguth said had a general threatening remark against schools and a reference to Coldwater.
Boguth said after a Coldwater Police Department investigation, it was discovered the person no longer lives in Coldwater and is currently residing in Arizona.
She said there was no direct threat to schools or students but they take these type of comments very seriously.
A robo call was sent out April 9th by Coldwater Community Schools which told parents and students that an on-line threat had absolutely nothing to do with Coldwater High School. Coldwater Police investigated and found out it was a posting about a school in Clovis, New Mexico.
Boguth said many other schools around the country that had the same C.H.S. initials had to deal with the same social media post.
