QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Based upon a recommendation from project manager Brian Van Zee of C2AE Engineering, the Quincy Village Council awarded a bid of over $164,000 to Parrish Excavating Tuesday night for well replacement and a new well house.
Parrish had the lowest of two bids which were opened April 5. Brand Construction of Quincy submitted the other bid of nearly $194,000.
Meanwhile, Village Manager Eric Zuzga says Rebecca Horn has resigned from the Village Council and that Quincy residents interested in filling the position will be asked in the near future to submit letters to the village. Horn’s term runs until November 2020.
