TRENTON, NJ (WTVB) – The winner of the Mega Millions jackpot worth more than half-a-billion-dollars is a Michigan man who recently moved to New Jersey. Richard Wahl says he bought an easy pick ticket for the $533 million jackpot in last month’s drawing at a gas station. It may have been only the second time he bought a ticket.
The 47-year-old says he will be quitting his job as a production manager of a food service company in Hillsdale and plans to donate a lot of the money to charity. He also hopes to fulfill his dreams of rebuilding a 1963 Corvette. It’s the fourth largest jackpot in the game’s history.
