LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Three Branch County students will be attending the 4-H Capitol Experience program in the Lansing area, which starts this Sunday.
Connie Lange from Michigan State University Extension told the Branch County Board of Commissioners Tuesday that even though it’s a 4-H program, any young person can attend.
Organizers say the annual four day conference prepares youngsters for active citizenship by focusing on civic engagement and public policy.
Nearly 130 teenagers from around Michigan are expected to attend.
