COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In Interstate 8 Conference track and field Wednesday, the Coldwater boys and girls team swept Battle Creek Pennfield.
The Cardinals took the boys meet 120-36. Coldwater winners were Matt Gipple (100, long jump), Adam Bailey (200, 300 hurdles), Mohamed Saleh (400), Shuaib Aljabaly (800), Kyle Foulk (1600), Logan Fee (110 hurdles), Dylan Targgart (shot put and discus) and Hamza Muflihi (pole vault).
Coldwater won all four relay races.
In the girls portion of the meet, Coldwater topped Pennfield 83-67.
Coldwater winners were Claire Sheppard (100 and high jump), Kathy Potter (400, 3200), Elka Machan (1600), Jasmine Wellet (100 hurdles and 300 hurdles) and Kaci White (discus).
Coldwater won the 400 and 1600 relays.
