COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater has announced that with the favorable weather conditions Thursday, South Monroe Street will be closed until 12 noon for road improvements.
The work is being done in order to paint and install signage that will result in the temporary conversion of South Monroe between U.S. 12 and West Pearl from a two way street to a one way street.
This is being done in order to install additional parking spaces for employees and customers of downtown businesses to help offset the loss of parking due to the Chandler Plaza reconstruction project.
