COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners approved a request from County Clerk Terry Kubasiak Tuesday to fill two positions in her office that will be vacant between now and the fall.
Kubasiak said one position will be vacant after this Friday, as Elizabeth Danbury is leaving her position after 19 years of service to the county.
Meanwhile, Chief Deputy Clerk Lisa Metz will be retiring on or before September 14, 2018. Kubasiak plans to move Deputy Clerk Christine Ransbottom into the Chief Deputy position.
The two new clerks coming on board are each being hired at the new hire rate of $12.35 per hour with new hire benefits.
