KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – A pair of top ten teams will meet for a Michigan High School Basketball Association Class A girls basketball regional championship tonight at Kalamazoo Loy Norrix, as sixth ranked Coldwater will battle second ranked East Lansing for the right to advance to next Tuesday’s quarterfinals.
The Lady Cardinals are 22-2, but they will be facing a 23-0 East Lansing team that features Miss Basketball candidate Jaida Hampton. She is averaging nearly 16 points a game and has committed to play at Wichita State. Game time is 7:00 p.m..
