COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Police are investigating what is being called an extensive amount of damage to headstones and urns at the Oak Grove North Cemetery off U.S. 12 on Coldwater’s west side.
Department of Municipal Services workers noticed the damage, which police believe took place sometime between 5:00 p.m. Tuesday and 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Director of Police and Fire Services Mark Bartell says multiple headstones and urns were tipped over, broken or thrown.
There are no suspects at this time. Anyone with information about the damage at Oak Grove North Cemetery should call Coldwater Police at (517)278-4525.
