COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Interviews with the two finalists for the Branch Intermediate School District Superintendent position will be conducted by the BISD Board of Education over the next two nights.
Gogebic-Ontonagon Intermediate School District Assistant Superintendent Nicholas Steinmetz will be interviewed Monday while Calhoun Intermediate School District Assistant Superintendent Kristine Jenkins is scheduled to be interviewed on Tuesday evening. Both of the interviews will be conducted during special meetings starting at 6:00 p.m. and they will be open to public.
There were 15 applications submitted for the position. Whoever is selected will succeed Joe Lopez, who is retiring in July.
Open houses that will give staff and community members a chance to meet the candidates will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day in the Mall area of the Branch Area Careers Center. The interviews will take place at the Branch Area Careers Center in room 164.
