QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Orioles claimed a second straight Big 8 Conference championship in boys basketball Tuesday night as they blasted Concord 77-26, while Homer lost at Jonesville 61-53. Will Dunn led the Orioles with 19 points.
Quincy finished Big 8 Conference play with a 13-1 record. They are 16-4 overall.
Bronson assured themselves of finishing above .500 with a 69-50 victory over Union City. The Vikings improved to 6-7 in the Big 8 and 11-8 overall while Union City drops to 3-9 in the conference and 6-11 overall. Wyatt Heal and Branden Bell led the Vikings with 17 points while Larson Kever had 16 points for Union City
Union City won the J.V. game 49-38 as Nolan Shaffer led the Chargers with 12 points.
