ATHENS, MI (WTVB) -The new building in Athens for Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation Services is taking shape.
All of the interior walls are framed up, about half of the siding is done and the wiring has been run in the walls.
It’s hoped The Lighthouse of Athens will be ready for an open house on Memorial Day weekend.
It is being built on the site of the former Spencer Funeral Home.
The Lighthouse of Athens will be uised as an event and banquet hall.
