COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Office will once again be offering free boater safety classes this year.
The 2018 schedule has been announced and everyone over the age of 12 can attend.
The classes will be held on May 12 and June 9 at Sunset Cove Resort, and May 19, June 2 and June 23 at the Coldwater Lake Association Building.
You can register at the Branch County Sheriff’s Office weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Certificates do not expire. You have to obtain a certificate to legally operate a jet ski in Michigan if you were born after December 31, 1978.
All classes will be from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Free lunch will be provided by the Coldwater Lake Association and the Marble Lake Improvement Association.
