COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The middle school basketball seasons for area teams came to an end last night, and both of the 8th grade teams from Coldwater’;s Legg Middle School finished with wins.
8th Grade A— Legg 52, Jackson Lumen Christi 20
The A team finished 8-3. Mallory Wilber had 13 points, six assists and nine steals while Jayla Foster had 12 points, five rebounds and seven steals and Jenni Hernandez had 12 points and seven rebounds.
8th Grade B— Legg 52, Jackson Lumen Christi 21
Erica Hurst had 16 points followed by Chloe Schaale with 10 points and Tasha Pike with nine points. The B team finished 10-1.
In other local basketball, The St Charles Borromeo Middle School basketball team completed their regular season with a 31-20 victory over Sturgis Trinity Lutheran.

The St Charles Cougars finished with a 6-0 regular season record. They will play in the Sturgis Christian League tournament on Saturday March 3 at St Mary’s in Bronson.
