COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The heavy rain and high water has not only resulted in nearly a dozen closings around Branch County, but there have been some washouts as well.
Branch County Road Commission Manager Trent Arver says the known washouts are at Fisher Road just east of Stringtown Road, on Wildwood Road just east of the Ray-Quincy Road intersection and on Clearwater Road just south of Cranson Road.
There could be others that have not been reported.
Drivers are urged to use caution and observe high water signs.
Do not attempt to drive in high water, it could cause permanent damage to your vehicle.
