COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The 51st annual Branch County Farmer’s Day will be Monday at the Branch Area Careers Center.
There will be six educational sessions between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. with four more sessions in the afternoon between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Click here for the complete schedule.
The exhibit area will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
The luncheon in the mall area at 11:30 a.m. will feature guest speakers Bruce and Jennifer Lewis from the Pleasant View Dairy Farm in Hillsdale County. They will be talking about their recent Farm Bureau tour of New Zealand.
Lunch attendees will find out more about the diverse farms they visited. The cost for lunch is $3 with proceeds going towards the Agribusiness Scholarship Fund. Milk will be provided by the Branch County Dairy Producers while sack lunches will be provided by the Branch County Agri-Business Council.
Farmer’s Day is sponsored by the Branch County Agribusiness Council, Michigan State University Extension and the Branch Area Careers Center.
