FREMONT, IN (WTVB) – The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a man who is wanted in connection with the burglary of a home a couple of miles south of Branch County.
A felony arrest warrant has been issued by the Steuben County Circuit Court for 30 year old Charles Richard Castner following the investigation into the theft of items from the 3800 block of West County Road 600 North in Jamestown Township that allegedly took place near the end of 2017.
The incident allegedly involved the theft of a vehicle as well as numerous items of personal property over a several week period.
Caster is facing five counts in the warrant including a felony for burglary to a dwelling. He is also facing auto theft, forgery and theft charges.
Castner is described as a five-foot-nine white male who weighs about 180 pounds. He has green eyes and short brown hair.
