COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Once the 19th annual St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School Mardi Gras Auction was over Saturday night, organizers were pleased with a $63,500 gross for the event.
Tuesday they got even happier. After recalculating the spreadsheet, they found that the total actually increased to just over $83,000. That money included items sold at the auction and cash donations made before the Mardi Gras.
The money raised is used to support St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School, which has a record enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year.
