COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners is scheduled to take formal action during Tuesday’s meeting on a request from Veterans Affairs to purchase a new vehicle.
Veteran’s Counselor and Trust Fund Agent Charles Scott told commissioners during their work session last Thursday that money has been donated.
Scott pointed out that Branch County is one of a few counties in Michigan that provides free transportation to veterans.
He says they would have to pay just over $25,000 for the van.from Stillwell Ford in Hillsdale.
