COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Community Foundation has announced they have three new board members.
Joining the board are Dr. Wallace A. Newkirk, Don Germann, and Anne Freiburger.
Dr. Newkirk is retired after 26 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He and his wife, Candace, moved to the Quincy area nearly five years ago to be nearer to their family.
Germann is a native of northwestern Ohio. He is currently the Branch Officer in the Jonesville Office of County National Bank. He resides in Coldwater with his wife Sue, who is the CEO of Pines Behavioral Health, and their two children.
Freiburger is originally from Fort Wayne. She and her husband Jim moved to their lake home near Colon in 2000. In her retirement, Anne has been involved in Colon Kiwanis and is Past-President.
