THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – The search for a new superintendent in the Three Rivers School District is getting underway.
The district’s School Board found out Wednesday night that current Superintendent Jean Logan had taken a new job in an undisclosed district.
Logan became Superintendent in August of 2014.
Her tenure was a stormy one at times especially when three administrators did not have their contracts renewed. Right before Christmas in 2015 she was hit with a cease-and-desist order by a district parent who was involved in a recall effort against school board members who voted against having the administrators contracts renewed.
Logan turned in her letter of resignation before the meeting. The Board accepted it and wished her well. They then appointed Rob Kuhlman as interim Superintendent.
