ATHENS, MI (WTVB) – A staff member in the Athens School District has been put on leave for what school officials are calling an inappropriate relationship with a student.
A letter has been given to students and parents in the district.
No names have been released pending the outcome of the investigation but the employee is question is reportedly a teacher.
Both internal and criminal investigations are apparently underway.
