The Queen of the 2018 Quincy Chain of Lakes Tip Up Festival will be crowned this Saturday night at Tibbits Opera House.
There are ten contestants vying for the crown this year.
They are Sara Hickey, Gabrielle Williams, Angelica Iobe, Haley Schley, Kordelia Ulrich, Mariah Wiley, Alyssa Milliman, Kristina Richardson, Faith Scott and Ashley Mobley.
Hannah Economou won the crown last year and received a $1,000 scholarship.
The Queen contest starts at 7:00 p.m.
Besides the Tip Up Queen contest, there will also be contests at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday for younger girls in Teeny Tiny, Tiny, Junior Miss and Little Miss.
Admission for both the afternoon and evening sessions will be $5.
