BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school basketball, the Coldwater Cardinals play the second of four straight Interstate 8 conference games on the road this evening at Battle Creek Pennfield. The Cardinals are 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the I-8 following their 70-47 win at Jackson Northwest.
Pennfield under first year head coach Nathan Burns is coming off a 51-36 win over Harper Creek. The Panthers are 1-2 in the I-8. After losing their first four games, Pennfield has won three straight.

After last Friday’s tough overtime loss at Jackson Northwest, the Coldwater Lady Cardinals return home this evening to host the undefeated Pennfield Panthers. Coldwater is 8-1 overall and 2-1 in the Interstate 8 while the Panthers lead the I-8 at 3-0 and they are unbeaten in six games.
