COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man was formally arraigned Friday in Branch County District Court after he allegedly used his computer to exchange child pornography.
47-year-old Travis Robert Thomas was charged with Using a Computer to Commit a Crime and being in Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material. An habitual offender enhancement for a second offense was also filed by prosecutors.
Thomas was charged following an investigation by the Michigan State Police.
Bond has been set at $50,000. A probable cause hearing was scheduled for Thursday with a preliminary exam scheduled for January 18, 2018.
