CENTREVILLE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Two teens could be facing charges after they broke into a community college in St. Joseph County.
On Friday deputies were called to Glen Oaks Community College on Shimmel Road in Centreville after a report of a disorderly subject and noticed that the school had been broken into.
They cleared the building and discovered that the suspects attempted to break into an ATM inside the school by cutting into the safe.
A 17-year-old from Sturgis Township was booked into the St. Joseph County Jail and a 16-year-old suspect was released to his parents pending a juvenile court review.
Both teens face multiple felony charges including bank, safe and vault robbery, breaking and entering and unlawful driving away of an automobile.
