WASHINGTON, D.C. – (WTVB) – Seventh district Republican Congressman Tim Walberg says he will vote against the impeachment of President Trump.
Walberg points out that while some Democrats may vote against impeachment, he will more than likely be in the minority.
Even though he sees the two articles of impeachment clearing the House, Walberg says after talking with Senators there will be no way a conviction will take place in the U.S. Senate.
Walberg said last month on his Twitter account that House Democrats have been fixated on impeachment by any means necessary for the past three years. He has called the proceedings a charade and a partisan exercise.
