COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The new Coldwater Dairy Queen Store at 559 East Chicago is getting ready to open up.
Todd Haidous owns the property. He has been the owner of the Angola Dairy Queen since 2015.
Interviews for future employees are being conducted this week. Information on times and locations can be found at the Coldwater Dairy Queen Facebook page.
The restaurant plans to open this month but an exact date has not been announced.
The new Dairy Queen will be over 2,600 square feet in size with a drive-through window and 42 parking spaces.
It has been built at the site of the former Coldwater Recreation Lanes.
The bowling alley closed last spring and was in the process of being torn down when a fire broke out in the early morning of July 10, 2019 and destroyed the building.
