COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Even jewelers have a sweet tooth.
Culy’s Jewelry in downtown Coldwater hosted its annual Cookie and Dessert Challenge last week, collecting dozens of entries in each category. Dawn Bohm won a $100 gift certificate by placing first place in the cookie category with her Decorated Sugar Cookie.
First place in the dessert category went to Pat Furney with her Maple Butterscotch Brownies. She also won a $100 gift certificate.
Because of the overwhelming number of entries in the cookie category, Culy’s awarded a second place prize, with a tie between Jennifer Willms with her Rudolph Cookies and Barb Fee with her Coconut Cookies. Each received a $50 gift certificate.
Contest entries came from Coldwater, Sturgis, Bronson, Quincy, Union City, Reading, and Burr Oak, as well as Fremont, Angola, and Auburn, Indiana.
