COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – What has become a Christmas holiday tradition in Coldwater will take place again Tuesday evening, as ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital Volunteers hold their Celebration of Lights at the Community Care and Conference Center.
The 19th annual event begins at 5:30 p.m. and it will feature the lighting of a special tree that will be on display outside of the hospital’s main entrance during the holiday season. All of the white holiday lights on the hospital campus will also be turned on.
Proceeds from the project will go towards the Garden of Hope and the Memorial Garden which are located on the hospital campus.
The names of those honored or remembered will be read at the ceremony and the Coldwater High School Balladiers will perform a selection of Christmas carols.
Last year’s Celebration of Lights raised $3,200.
