COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In anticipation of winds gusting up to 60 miles an hour, the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a High Wind Watch for Wednesday.
Sustained winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour are possible in portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and northwest Ohio. The watch area includes all of Branch County.
The NWS says damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines, and power outages are possible.
Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles on north-south oriented roads.
