HAMILTON, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater High School’s Leah Goodwin became the first diver ever from the school to qualify for the Michigan High School Athletic Association State Meet Thursday night during the regional diving meet at Hamilton.
The top 12 divers at regionals advance to the state meet. Goodwin, a sophomore, finished 8th in the one meter dive competition.
She will join swimmer Jillian McKinley next weekend at Oakland University for the MHSAA Division Three Swimming and Diving Finals.
