COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinal bowlers swept Sturgis in a non-conference match on Tuesday at Midway Lanes.
Coldwater won the girls match 27-3 as well as the boys match 28-2.
The Coldwater girls took both regular games 761-678 and 678-437 for a total of 1439-1115. They also took both Baker games 169-96 and 160-73 for a total of 329-169. Coldwater was led by Violet Waltke with a 207 and Rilee Cooper-Lewis with a 184.
The Coldwater boys took both regular games 921-719 and 848-729, as they won the total 1769-1448. The Cardinals won both Baker games 195-133, and 156-126 for a total of 351-259.
Coldwater was led by Dayten Yearling with games of 205 and 189, Chance Cook with 204 and 188 and Kai Kinsey with a 193.
Coldwater travels to M-66 bowl on Wednesday to take on Pennfield. This will be the last regular meet for the girls this season. The boys will host Harper Creek on Thursday for their last home meet.
The boys last meet of the season will be next week Tuesday at Bowlero Lanes in Battle Creek.
