SCHOOLCRAFT, MI (WTVB) – All good things must come to an end.
There will be a new state champion in Division Three girls volleyball this season after the Schoolcraft Eagles took advantage of their home floor to defeat four-time defending state champion Bronson Tuesday night three games to nothing in the Michigan High School Athletic Association regional semifinals.
The top-ranked Eagles led throughout most of the match as they swept the fifth-ranked Vikings 25-15, 25-17, 25-16.
The Eagles ended Bronson’s 32 match postseason winning streak. Bronson finished the season with a record of 51-9-2.
